If you want to use these, just drag them onto your bookmarks toolbar…

Delicious – Adds the currently open page to your delicious account. I use this for all my bookmarking.

Twitlet – Brings up a modal dialog to do a quick tweet. Use #link to embed a small URL of the page that is open.

is.gd – URL shortener and also tracks click-throughs.

Readability – Wonderful link that cuts out all the crap from a web page and makes it readable using your full browser page. I use this more than anything else.

Subscribe – Hunts for RSS feeds and prompts you to add them to Google Reader.

I just downloaded the app and attempted to log in using my existing Gmail account. I kept getting password failed. Going and logging into the site revealed that they don’t recognize my email address… odd.

Turns out that as I registered via email, Google was giving a reply to of @googlemail.com instead of @gmail.com. Logging in with myusername@googlemail.com worked fine.

Oh, and here’s a picture I took yesterday on the iPhone:

Part of me wonders if this is something that is unique to our generations. Our family picture albums were full of photos looking like this, painting our collective history. Seeing photos of the present, displayed like those of the past tugs at my psyche somehow.

That aside, it’s jolly good fun. A number of apps have appeared on the iPhone that, when coupled with its relatively low tech digital camera, produce photos of Lomo-like qualities.

There’s a good blog that churns out links to these apps & showcases some photos by those caught up in the movement: iPhoneography (see what they did there? ).

I’d love to get a real film one for when we go away later in the year..

Here’s a few I’ve taken recently. I’ll be uploading more to Flickr and as I get to grips with the apps I’ll do a few mini-reviews:

We had a number of people writing in to complain about this at work. I think the funniest was when they gave us a one star review on the app store and accused us of stealing another game’s artwork…

Anyway, here’s how to fix it if you have the problem on your iPhone:

1. Delete one of the applications/games with the incorrect icon from your device.
2. Relaunch App Store on the device.
3. Find the application/game you just deleted and start it
   downloading again.
4. Now click on the application/game’s icon to pause the download process
5. Turn off the phone using the red slider (hold down the sleep button on the top to bring this up). Do not hard reset (that’s where you don’t use the red slider and keep the home button held down).
6. Turn your device back on and finish the download
